{"id":5532,"date":"2021-09-20T16:36:34","date_gmt":"2021-09-20T14:36:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www-dev.marfret.fr\/?p=5532"},"modified":"2021-09-23T15:18:31","modified_gmt":"2021-09-23T13:18:31","slug":"a-new-look-for-the-marin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marfret.com\/en\/uncategorized\/a-new-look-for-the-marin\/","title":{"rendered":"A new look for the Marin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our \u201cMarin\u201d, a ro-ro\nvessel dedicated to the Ferrymar service, has docked at the Damen shipyards in\nDunkirk for its periodic dry dock. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aware of the vital link\nthat Ferrymar constitutes for the Caribbean territories, Marfret has decided to\nensure the continuity of the service during the technical stop of the \u201cMarin\u201d\nby deploying its other ro-ro vessel, the Marfret Niolon, which entered the\nFerrymar service at the beginning of August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ferrymar, a weekly\ninter-island service developed by Marfret for over 20 years, is a real maritime\nbridge between Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint-Barthelemy and Saint-Martin, and a\nformidable vector for growth in service to the industries of these islands. As\na link between four island economies, each with a domestic market that is limited\nin nature, it allows us to reach one million consumers, the threshold that\ngenerates economies of scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The horizontal handling\nmode, using road trailers handled via the axial ramp, is easy to implement and\nvery efficient.
