Our group

The Group is made of two main companies :

MARSEILLE FRET

Turnover (2007): 20 millions euros
Original company of the Group, Marseille fret is the ship manager of the Marseille Fret and Marfret’s fleet.
Marseille Fret employs 25 French Officers. The remaining crew (100 seamen and officers) is foreign and managed by V Ships in Geneva.

MARFRET

Turnover (2007): 165 millions euros
Marfret is the liner operator. Marfret also owns the Marfret méjean, the Marin and the Marfret Niolon.
Marfret employs 130 people.

The main subsidiaries :

Brokering:

BROKER SHIPPING, 50% owned by Marseille Fret and 50% by mr george Brocklehurst. Broker Shipping is the chartering broker company for the Group but has also developed relations with its own customers.

Stevedoring:

PLISSONNEAU MANUTENTION: Stevedoring company in Martinique, 100% Marfret owned
SOGUAMA: stevedoring company in Guadeloupe, 100% Marfret owned

Warehousing:

SOMARDOCKS, SOMARFRET, SOMARSEINE et SOMARLOG
